The short version. This website doesn't use cookies for analytics or advertising, and neither does the app. There's nothing to accept or decline.
This policy explains how Sulphanic LLC (“we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on doitinstead.com and in the Instead: Stop Scrolling app. Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser.
On this website
doitinstead.com is a set of plain pages. We don't set cookies, and we don't use analytics, advertising, social-media plugins or tracking pixels. The pages load no fonts or scripts from other companies.
The site is delivered by Cloudflare. To protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare may in some cases set a strictly necessary security cookie, for example:

These cookies are needed to deliver the site securely, don't track you across other sites, and aren't used for advertising, so the law doesn't require your consent for them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings; the site will still work, though you may be asked to complete a security check.
In the app
Instead doesn't use cookies, advertising identifiers or tracking. Like every app, it stores what it needs on your phone to work: your progress, your settings and, if you sign in, your sign-in session (in your phone's secure keychain). This storage is strictly necessary for the features you use, is never used to track you, and is removed when you delete the app. Our Privacy Policy explains what's stored and why.
Changes
If we ever add cookies that aren't strictly necessary (for example, analytics), we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
